Yes we can all the register the game via the forum thankfully your servers are up and running, however what we can't do is play the game!
This is thanks to the tages activation servers being down for nearly 48 hours now.

I'm really surprised at how long its been down for, it really reflexs poorly on Tages infastructure and its support team ability to run and maintain any kind of high availability system.
I take it they must be paying penalty fines by now on failure to meet support sla's?

There must be on call engineers looking at the problem and project managers updating the client on the status of the work?

If not then the service is a joke and a new provider should be found after the outage is over.

If egosoft or deepsilver are getting updates etc, then why not post a brief status report in the forums to keep your customers happy?
Even a little bit of feedback even if its bad news can go a long way to making your customers happy and shows that you have some sort of control over the situation.

Speaking as someone how knows what it's like to have customers and directors screaming for information about server availability and downtime I know that if any of my own works clients had recieved such poor service they would have moved on to a new host by now and I'd be looking for a new job!

Yes, there are several threads about this already. Why do you insist on diverting an unrelated thread into yet another discussion of the problem? And if you were to read the existing TAGES thread then you would see that I had already posted in it to say we were investigating.
