Sound Problems with ffdshow off

Some of the music tracks in my game keep skipping.

I have already turned off ffdshow which fixed most of my sound problems, but there are certain tracks that don't play properly, even in an empty sector.

I am running version 1.4 and EAX is off

Any help, please??

Have you tried ticking the ignore previous setting box on the start-up panel.

What good will that do? it only reverts the settings back to default.

It's only certain tracks, like the music for Home of Light, that's skipping.

I've had ffdshow off and EAX off since i got the game

I have found; in the past, that after changing codecs or drivers, to do with sound, that starting from scratch has corrected such matters.

A DxDiag may help the forum members spot something.
