Where's the station news in X3 Terran Conflict

Is there still news and rumors in Terran Conflict, like there used to be on the station menus in earlier games? I can't find it.

Or, if not, is there another method you can find out information about economic crises, wars, and so on?

I realize the mission system has moved - wondering if news moved somewhere else and I'm not finding it.

News/bulletin board messages no longer appear in TC, although you still hear the occasional station announcement reminding you to read the bulletin boards :roll:

There was no real news, anyway--it was all pointless constantly-repeated fluff.
