I have a rather interesting issue.
First, the setup. I'm in a Cerberus with ordered Attack Enemies on my top, bottom, and rear turrents with 2 sets of FAAs and EBG on the rear, and 2 HEPT on my left and two IBL on my right set for attack my target.
Second, the situation. I was in a patrol mission in Rolk's Legacy against a Kha'ak Destroyer and a smattering of fighters. Since I was greatly outmatched (I am determined to make flying that thing work.) I tried flying perpendicular to the destroyer and fire my IBLs at it.
Prognosis: Pretty good, though he did cut through most of my shields I managed to do more lasting damage to it.
The bug: The second time I tried this was when some of the fighters were around me and harassing me at times. There were a number of bugs.
1. When I took manual control of the right turret I couldn't get it to fire.
2. The Attack my Target turrets attacked the untargeted fighters while the top/down FAA turrets were more sporadic in response.
3. On top of firing on untargeted enemies, I saw the right turret firing way past its supposed area of cover. It was firing at enemies well on the left side of the ship (hence firing into the ship model)
I hope this get's fixed soon.
God Bless

ps...yes I know the Diemos has more shields but I don't like the look of that thing.

(Mine IS 1.4)
i have the same/similar problem with my Diemos.
When i take manual control of the top or bottom turrets it doesn't work right... i'll try to explain it as best as possible...
When i point to where i want to fire, the turret will fire opposite like a mirror... and moves like a mirror image would instead of where i want it to go. So if my aim cursor is x,y,z the turret fires -x,-y,-z.
Automatic control i will test in a second and get back to you...
*Edit* Auto works fine
*Edit2* Seems it was just a matter of me saving as 1.4 and rebooting the game... seems the turrets respond correctly now.

The turrets still don't target properly, or fire properly, but there's clearly no point going into the specifics for the thirteen thousandth time. I have a question though, do I need to do anything to activate Gazz' turret script or is it automatic with the 1.4 download? Faulty turrets coupled with ever decreasing performance has now finally left the game pretty much unplayable for me, which I've seen coming for some time. Can't even fly through a lightly populated system on atari graphics settings anymore without a slideshow. Maybe I'll play pong instead
