Aldrin Can't Jump there

Ok annoyed now as i got caught out earlier in the mission with the captain who needed to be in your hold for the spy mission (took a few days to find what station i left him at when I had swapped ships)

Anyhow, got to the part where you jump to Aldrin for the assualt mission, only problem is my ship won't jump, Aldrin is on the map but when I select it as a jump nothing happens.

What am I doing wrong, do I need the other type of jump drive (no gate required to jump to?)

How are you trying to jump? Are you using the Jump to Sector command or are you using SHIFT-J?

And what version of TC are you running?

Tried both Jump Options, hmm good point on the version will have to check that when I get home.

Do you think the other Jump drive will work? I read that there was another one that doesn't have to be used via gates you can just choose a location, was i tth e goner Temple mission that gave that to you?

No - that's not how the Unfocussed jump drive works.

Nope. That jumpdrive is something different. There were some problems with jump commands which were fixed. Make sure you have 1.3.
