ammo for girlfriend?

Post by dirtytrader »

Just out of interest how long do most spend playing x a week?

2 hours a day = approx 4 maybe 15 hours a week.

I get the impression that some of you out there play 24 hours a day :o

I think for the most part everyone has pretty much stopped playing the game awaiting X2 but then i can only really speak for myself.

Most have played the game through a couple of times from what i can tell but with X2 being so close to release maybe people are playing it over again for trsining purposes LOL

Haven't played in months, but when I DID play it would often occupy all the spare time I had--unfortunately there's stuff like eating, sleeping, and earning a living to take into account.

Well, now I play just when I feel like it. But when i first got it, I played it from when I got up to when I went to bed.

But now, I play it quite a lot still, but noware near as much as I used to. But when I read a good chunk of either Testament or Traders tale, then I am back in space soon afterwoods. Just ads that little more atmosphere to the game.

Especially when I have read a chapter when there has been a particularly good scrap with the machine heads! First thing I do, go straight to BHS and let rip for a while!

It just shows you how good a game X really is because I dont think there is anyone on this forum that bought the game and just played it whenever they could be bothered.

When i first got it almost everything around me became time consuming wastes of time like sleep.

it became a religion to play and i am sure my girlfriend at some point wanting to kick me out because of it LOL

I just hope that X-2 does the same

I played BTF almost every day for weeks on end but slowly played it less and less then as I got into the mission I got right back into it again and played every chance I could get.

X-T was different, without the story there wasn't the insentive to play as much, I would mostly play during the evening for 2-4 hours then stop. I did go through a phase of intense playing when I was building my empire but once I had wads of cash and nothing to spend it on I stopped.

At the moment I play only when I get the urge which is only several times a month.

When I got XBtF, non-stop, I was off work for about 3 week's, so only stopped playing for nessary thing's like eating and sleeping.

Then I finished it, and I was lost.

All of a sudden I found X-T and I played that every chance I got.

Now, I only play every now and then, if I get the urge.

Other than Elite, no other game has kept me this captivated. If Egosoft charrged everytime that each of us played the game per session, there would be enough money to make everybody on this forum extreemly rich!

I used to play the game till the wee hours until The Rock's Dad heard his Gamma Hepts at 2-3 am and threatened to Smackdown me.
