[Bug?] Patrol mission through The Hub - trouble far, far, FAR away.

Post by Forked »

Ran in to a slight problem here..

I stupidly placed my first hub link between Circle of Labour and Omicron Lyrae. A bit after that I accepted a patrol mission in Nyanas Hideout that ends in Circle of Labour - in other words, it goes through the hub sector.

All went fine until I jumped in there. A few Kha'ak ships spawned, but only one of them inside the actual construction. A Corvette and a Carrier are -4294967 meters (yes, negative number) away from me according to the targeting system. That number does not change even if I move my own ship. (Let's see.. 10m/s going backwards? :) .. how many years will this take if I get through that wall..)

There is also a Corvette 4289km away from the centre.

They sent a few missiles after me and the beeping noise was constant, that was pretty annoying :P

I can provide a save game and any other info if it's needed/wanted.

(as for scripts.. I run CAG, EST, CLS 1/2 and Prospector.. I can't imagine any of them messing this up .. but seeing how I do not know how things actually work, I'm not going to claim I'm 100% on that)

As a last resort, you could use the cheat package to just blow them up.

I used it as an excuse to load an older save game and link my first set of gates ..somewhere else that felt less stupid.

This post was intended more as a general bug report.

What I forgot to say was .. this happened in 1.3
