Today I tried my first boarding and the results are very strange to me. The target was a Hyperion Vanguard, which I attacked with a wing of two ships, my player ship and an Iguana with 10 marines on board. Each one of the marines had three stars in one specialisation and two in the others. I tried to train my three stars specializations so to cover all the three fields, so three had three stars in kacking, three others three in machanics and so one.
I ordered the wing to attack the shields and after several reloads, I managed to capture the ships, or, better said, to somehaw capture the ship. The marines comunicated that they reached target, penetrated the hull, faught inside, etc. and... suddenly, the ship turned blue. Initially I supposed that I have to claim it, as in the case of an M3, M4, M5, so I tried to eject from the ships but... after around one minute of laying there, it took speed and just runnawy. As I scaned it, I found three of my marines in cargo bay, and instead of the pilot, an "unknown object". It is impossible to comunicate with it, and if I shoot it, it just explodes, without turning red or trying to shoot back. I also send a transport to buy a system override software from a pirate base, but when I click it I have no option to claim it or something like this.
Now, I have in mind several explenations:
1. The marines were not able to hack it, but why did they not leave it and why is it not fighting back or something. I folloed it like 10 minutes in SETA and it just crusing through the sevtorm without target.
2. I have to use a system override software to claim big ships, but this is not specified in manula and I did not see any such post on forums.
3. Sveral weeks ago I tried to install some plugins, specifically the NPC bail one, NPC competition and the legal system override software developed by cycrow. The last one did not functioned, so the NPC competition was claimg the ships before I was able to reach them in my space suit. Since I dont know much about computers and some other peoples stated that they had also probles with the legal System Override, I uninstalled the scripts, uninstalled the game, deleted the saves and made a new instalation. Untill now I saw no sign of NPC competition and I capped I think around 50 ships. More of a fact, with the NPC competitions the "stolen" ships had a pilot, which was comunicating with my if I would attempt to fire on him. However, this is not the case.
4. Could this be a bug? Now, it seems to be less possible because I saw no posts about something like this on the forums. Ah, by the way, shame on you Egosoft for releasing such a buggy product! The ideea of the game is wonderfull, but it is definitelly not finished! And I am not talking about the gameplay - how hard the missions are, how easy is to get money, etc. but about the broking parts. Anyhow, this is not the main subject of this topic, so please, I would like to get some hints about capping and about this particular situation.
Thanks!
Capped ship running away!

Sorry for the late feedback.
As soon as your marines have hacked the ship's controls (you get a message) the ship should become your property.
No SOS or any other action is necessary.
I suspect that one of the scripts you had installed was the cause for this odd behaviour. Now since you have deinstalled the scripts and are playing with a fresh install of X3TC: did this bug happen again?
Cheers Euclid
