Well... building complexes can be very... complex.
To make a self-sufficient factory complex you need a lot of factories, an then you get a spaghetti complex that makes your FPS drop below zero... :evil:

Well I have an Idea that could potentially solve the problem, if someone from the modding community is actually interested in making it happen.

Basically my suggestion is making a shell station using new model, or reusing one of the existing ones. That station would essentially be empty, and after you build one, you could put "factory modules" in it (spp module, cristal fab module, med. shield module etc.), and basically build a complex within that station... so you could build a factory complex without hundreds of stations in a spaghetti pattern :wink:
Mines would still need to be connected by old method to the new shell station.

Is someone interested in making this happen?

This is x2 we don't get complexes in a vanilla game only in x3 and tc :cry: :cry: :cry: If this is for x2 Then im all for it:)

yeah, in vanilla you can't, but there are at least 2 mods I've seen (can't remember whitch) where complexes where possible. The one used pipes and the other just stuck them toghether :D

but probably he may mean X3 though.
