[Demo] Error opening video - SOLVED

[Triple Omega]

When I startup the demo I get a small windows popup telling me:
"Error opening video!" and to check the manual or readme.

I've tried:
-changing resolution(standard is 1920x1200)
-windowed
-low graphix
-alternative video setting
-with and without ffdshow enabled for the game

Pretty much every setting I've tried and I still have no solution to my problem. Is there anyone who can tell me how to solve this? I really want to try the demo.

E6400 @ 2,7GHz
4GB DDR2(2x2GB)
Nvidia GF 8800 GTS 640

Edit: I just solved my problem by rebooting. There is nothing anywhere telling me to reboot, so I didn't think this would solve anything at first. Rebooting is never a bad thing though, so I tried it and it worked. No idea what wanted a reboot, but if it works it works.
