Is there was there ever a Universe patrol script made? One where the you could assign and M6 to automatically jump to assist troubled traders and stations. If not I have an idea for one. Simply put it would work like the Sector Trader-To Universe Trader. You start a M6 or higher ship on sector patrol. The pilot gains experience and learns to jump to the sectors instead of traveling by gate. Eventually when high enough you could make a Universe patrol and he will jump to assist traders or respond to large build ups of enemy in sectors where you have interest.

hmm this is a good idea. wonder if it could be done. im ok at scripting. so i might take a crack at it. cant make any guarantees though because im not great.

One that I use is here (under the heading AS.Gaurd v1.11) I would say it is generally what you are looking for.
