fleet command software/or similar?

hi all

have you a favourtie scene from the X2 Benchmark?
i have: i really love this fleet movement from chapter "think"
not only that the nova is my favourite, it just looks damn cool seeing a fleet roam...

i tried something similar too...getting around 12 wingmen and more, but there were no real good formations..."line" is only acceptable with a maximum of 4 wingmen, "X" is quite okay even for many wingmen, "Delta" is not my thing, "XDelta" ...
and in addition, there's a missing option to declare M6 as wingmen...
and if i simply tell them to protect me, they don't fly in formation...

but what i'm asking for is this: (may it be added through scripting, or better: patching from egosoft)
i want to let a fleet roam...like in this scene...
okay...i understand that i have to be leader, otherwise they don't know where to fly, but i want to have them in my back, looking like a fleet, acting like a fleet...so that they not only protect me, but that they also protect each other etc.

is there a script out? or is anyone working on that?

YOu mean like in a big bundel instead of a flawless formation... that would be cool, and more realistic.

jep...like in this scene...
that is more fleet-like (IMHO), but this option is unfortunately missing
that's why this thread exists ^^
