Good idea but what about a magnetic storm in space with astoroids in, And you can biuld a station there and as you go threw the magnetic storm lighting can some times strike the ship putting your shields down a bit, and in one sector you could have a strong black hole that if you stray to far from your sector you get pulled to it, Your ship starts to shake bits braking off computer malfuntion cargo brached screen craking and if you dont have a jump device your dead. If an enemy is chasing you and you have a jump device lead them in to it jump out in the same sector and sellect them as target and watch them die
Or fly blind into a nebula and fight your enemy with no targeting or sensers. Just by using your ears to listen for the engines! I had to do something like that in wing commander 4. But the ships I was fighting then had cloaking devices. But, in that particular mission there was a senser jamming device so you couldn't lock on and fire missiles or track your target in any way.

I think I remeber that...Bugger of a mission.
Great old games tho'
Good mission though. But the ship could turn on a sixpence though. Ant that's the sort of ship you need for a dog fight like that. You couldn't do that in Xt currrently.
