Ok I think a lot of the ships are way to slow so I was going to increase there speed.
M5:150
M4 100
M3 50
I was going to do it to all of the fighters because if i only did it to the M3 or only to M4, it would make the speed of M3 close or higher than M4 and M5.
I was also going to make it so the Split Mumba could use a GHEPT because the Split go for weapons and speed like the Scorpion is a good example of a Split Ship. The Mumba is only average in weapons.
I was also going to increase the Titans speed by 50 because it's sooooo slow.
Tell me what you think.

This is just my opinion, but I think the smaller fighters are all ready too fast. This has been one of the major combat issues from the start. Unless you upgrade your weapon speed its nearly impossible to hit the little boogers. Now if you can increase the speed of the pirate ships, so that they actually use the speed increase, that I would be interested in. Personally I'd like to see a lot more diversification of the ships between the different species.

I plan on uploading it if it goes well. I'll think about your suggestion of upgrading the speed of the pirate ships. I'm not sure if I'm going to upgrade M5 speed. I think it just may be M3 and M4. Definitely not doing the Split Scorpion. What do you think about a Xenon ship upgrade to.

I'm avoiding the Xenon sectors, I've 3x'd all weapon speed/ranges except PPC's, their 4x speed/range. My ship is a fireball before I get through the gate.
Here are some other ideas for a "Tships" mod: Just ideas
1) Decrease the price of the Hydra. worst M6 should be the cheapest.
2) Raise the price of the Osprey and remove the PSG's. (12-15 million?
3) Raise the price of the Dragon. Swap Dragon and Hydra prices?
4) A little increase to Osprey speed. low 200's
5) Add about 3 shields to all capital ships.
6) I've modded the Harrier to carry XL cargo in my game and decreased the speed to 90mps. It's now perfect for resupplying M2's and M6's and I don't consider it unbalanced because it isn't good for anything else.
I don't think any of these mods would affect existing NPC ships, just scripted and purchased player ships.
