is this legal/illegal or against the toc? Laptop battery slot, please advise

I play X3TC on my laptop, which has an extra battery slot I can use in place of a CD drive. Until Ego release their blessed patch in one year's time is there any LEGAL and in compliance with the TOC means on allowing me to remove my disc drive to be able to use an extended battery pack?

I realise that the answer will most likely be in the negative, in which case, or if against forum rules, feel free to lock this thread (I do not want any rubbishy (and irrelevant) drm/no-drm arguments here!!)

To do that you'd have to bypass the copy protection, which would be illegal--so no, sorry, you can't do that.
