Is it possible fps issue may come back after 1.2.1 hotfix?

I continued the terran missions and I have seen another video sequence of the terran pilot docking at the military base in Argon sector m148 and right now Id say my performance has decreased considerably to how it was when I patched, I also noticed after I patched I would have a 2 secs pause right after loading and then performance would be alright but right now I dont get that pause of a couple of secs after loading the game.

Can it be related? any tips from TS?
