Assign Homebase

I have bought a new carrier and i want to assign it as home to all the docked ships. I have figured out how to do this one by one... but that is just really boring. So i was wondering if there is a way to assign as homebase for all docked ships in just a few clicks, not the several hundred i have to use now.

One thing that I've never liked about X3 is the lack of ability to make group alterations.

If anyone can figure this out or script it in they'd be a god on this alone.

Isn't that what the Wing functionality in X3TC is supposed to provide? Can't say I've used it for this specific situation so don't know if it works, though.

To OP: as well as assigning ships to wings, there's a "Broadcast to all docked ships" option...again, I don't know if this can be used to set the homebase because I've not tried, but it's worth a look.
