My sector trader pilot's name is to long and it pushes his rank off the side of the info screen. Is there a way to fix it so i can tell what rank he is now?
Note: it's the pilot's name and not the ship's name.

You will be able to tell his rank 2 other ways...
1) His name, will say Courier, or Assistant Courier...etc THis is also his rank, I cannot remember what each one is, but I'm sure there's a list on the forum somewhere.
2) When you start UT it will put a message in your log, you can see the rank there

Thank you for your replies. I'll have a look for that list of rank names, hopefully i can find it. If anyone has a link that would save some time.
I did as a matter of fact start the ST in a teladi sector for the first time. I guess the pilot (and his name) are decided by what faction you started it in.
I wish there was a way to edit the name in some of the game files or something.
Can you fire your current SC/UT pilot and hire a new one?
