Equipment dock exploit

I bought 3 Caiman SF's and decided to sell their guns, because UT's don't need them so I ordered them to dock to same Equipment dock and sold two guns to the station and it only could buy two lasers of that type, it showed that it is full. I then went back to ED trading menu and... I see that ED is out of stock of that laser and only like 5 second passed after I sold those 2 same lasers. I think great lets sell those other 2 remaining. I sold them and I again see that station is out of stock. I did the same thing with other 2 Caimans. So the question is - is that the way it designed to be? Or is it a bug? Really anoyng because you can dump infinite ammount of stuff into Equipment Dock... ruins economy.

It only works for the guns that are not normally stocked by that EQ. If you have noticed you can sell guns, missiles and shields to EQ that they normally don't stock.
