Total Game Crash @ Load Screen

Hi guys,

I've just installed Vista Ultimate onto this box and thought "right, X3 Terran Conflict here I come"

So I load it up, watch the epic intro movie (which is epic) and get all worked up and suddenly... Load screen pops up and it just hangs, entire PC freezes up and I have to manually turn it off and on again.

I don't see anything obviously wrong with your drivers or audio codecs. However your system is scraping bottom spec, especially for Vista. How big is your pagefile? The game may not be able to finish loading itself.

If you have a USB flash drive lying around, I would attempt using it as a ReadyBoost device.

Ideally though, I would acquire more RAM.
