M148 buggy mission: Astronauts .. how?
So i finally got the tatadianium delivered, i undocked and two astronauts emerged. Now what? I tried flying into them, but they blow up. i tried waiting for them to board my ship, but i got blown up long before they got close. i tried leaving the sector, and fast forward time so they could follow me, they did, and now they are just circling me in unknown sector above M142.
Help appreciated. Thanks.

Indeed, despite the bugs with this particular mission, I don't believe this is one of them. You need a ship capable of transporting passangers (Which can be done with the cargo lifesupport system), of transporting M class containers which excludes m5 class ships (should be no problem) and have at least 2 units of volume free for each passenger so 4 total.
I had the same problem but managed to rectify it by:
To my great suprise (and relief) I too found they had left the m168 sector by the time I got back

Quickly popping off to the pirate base in black hole sun just south of the south gate, where one can buy the cargo lifesupport system

I used the small patrol ship you get in one of the first terran missions. I'm at work now, but i seem to remember i checked its info and it had cargo lifesupport.
Perhaps i should try to use another ship, and install lifesupport in that.
when that is done. all i have to do is to stay still, and they will manage to get into the bay themself?

If that scout is the Rapier, then it's a no go. All, except one M5, cannot carry M size wares and passengers. So slap the Life Support into an M4 (the Sabre for convenience) and use the Special Command software to pick them up.
This will set you on autopilot and you should get an audio message telling you that you have picked up 'Passenger'. Once you have the two in your hold, you're good to go!
If you're one for the needless action, like me, you can manually pick them up by ramming into them. I have yet to find a velocity which results in the destruction of cargo and spacesuits when colliding with them.
