Following Ship Wont Dock

Hi, Im new to the X Universe, last time I played something like this was Elite - anyway, perhapse im missing somthing minor but I tried one of those "retreve abandoned ship" missions but the following "retrieved ship wont follow me into the dock to finish mission.... so here is sat outside dock 1 hour ish to go and eventually get an "mission failed".

Any help much appreciated.

Ah... just noticed thios should of been posted in "Terran Conflict forum" sorry!

Just order the ship to dock on its own.
