I reinstalled the game recently and downloaded the latest update, and also the cockpit mod on the download page. I've placed it where it said to, but still don't see any cockpit. I've selected the mod prior to starting the game, tried docking and undocking, ejecting and reentering the ship, and travelling through a gate--and still no cockpit.
Is there some detail I'm missing? I know some don't like the cockpits, but I don't like the floating head sensation, at least in a fighter. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
