Repair laser installed but it needs a

big f#<kin& hammer to make it work. :evil:

I swapped the mining laser and the repair laser in the types/tlasers file. This put the repair laser in the game. It's even purchaseable at the local equipment dock for a whopping 28 credits (mining laser gone though, thats ok, I don't use it anyways). However, the repair laser doesn't do a damn thing when you fire it at a damaged ship. Oh it makes a bright white light and looks cool, but it doesn't repair anything. It will piss off the other pilots when you shoot them with it though.

I've done a little substituting in the tbullets file but still no luck. There's not much sense in scripting or modding it into the game if it doesn't work. If anyone can provide any more info on the tbullets file other than whats available in Sandapocolype's (sp.) chart I'd appreciate it. ANY ideas appreciated. :?

Are both the Hull AND Shield damage column negative numbers to repair?

I was hoping it would work.....

i hope so but maby he placed hulldamage -10000 shot every 500 years and the white light is the locking beam :lol:
:P somebody did something stupid o no its me :P

Yes, tried that, also target ship had no shields, I ejected them.

Tylium, sometimes you don't make much sense, but you'll be pleased to know I'm working on another mod just for you. :)
