Is this creative?!
Reckon you'd get more answers if you posted this in the main forum. But I'm sure a mod'll be along soon to move it over for you.
For me, I still play X2 a bit. I like X3, but X2 doesn't make my laptop sizzle quite as hot (I can damn near fry an egg on it playing X3!) And as I'd quite like my laptop to live as my spare for a few years longer, I've decided to retire it from power gaming.
I built a family desktop that would run X3 nicely, I think, but I'm waiting till I've got the readies to build my personal desktop - something a bit more Core 2 wolfdale or yorkfield and ATI4850 - and by that time, I think X3:TC will just about be on the shelves.
I still like X:BtF from time to time, just for the plot, for the feeling of being thrown into an alien universe. It's got a different feel to the other games.
I struggle with X:T though, as it's essentially a much more difficult to use, feature depleted X2. They feel like the same game, just in X-T everything looks boxier, and it's harder to do anything. Still, respect to X-T for showing just what a space sim could do. X-T laid the foundation of the X series.
