need command "fly to sector and attack all enemy"
I have some Centaurs protecting sectors, when I spot some Kha'ak ,using the great early warning script , I sent my centaur over to the sector to kill them.
Unfortunatly there is no "fly to sector and attack all enemy" command so I have to get them to fly there and when they get there tell them to attack all.
Is there another way? sometimes I forget and they sit there and get attacked grrrrr.

When you get to the stage where you can afford to do that, the question you'll be asking is 'how the @#$& did I find the time to build over 100 factories?!?!'

I've played this game waaay too much I think.

Hey y'all!
Umm, I have posted a pack of three patrol type scripts on XScripting.com. They have been there for a few days now.
Basically, they consist of:
Patrol Homebase Sector - As it says, the ship with this script patrols the sector that the homebase is in. It stays docked until it detects an enemy and then leaves the home base, fights, then returns to home base. Oh, and homebase CAN be a carrier or a station. I have heard a couple of good replies regarding this. I use it with my Argon Nova docked to a Teladi Osprey. The Nova has the script, and I fly the Osprey. When I jump in sector the Nova automatically disengages, attacks the enemy in priority order (Khaak Cluster -> Pirate Transport). It will attack any ship that is classed as your enemy. Then it returns home and docks. Tries to pick up a few missiles in the process.
Patrol Homebase Sectors: As above except the ship will scan the surrounding sectors N-E-S-W. If they have an ANS sat and there is an enemy there they will tootle off to that sector, attack the enemies then return to the home sector, rescan. It will attack all surrounding sector enemies, including the home sector, then return to homebase.
Patrol Home Sector: Same as Patrol hombase sector, but for ships that dont have a homebase, IE corvettes etc. They will do the above patrol, when finished they will return to the centre of the home sector and continually scan for enemies. Having this script running on a Mammoth, with a complement of fighters running the Patrol Homebase Sector script could be very devastating. Mamoth jumps in sector, disgorges fighters, then goes to attack itself. The ships will attack then return back to the mamoth. The mamoth then heads home. If the mamoth heads home when all enemies are done for, the fighters will automatically find the shortest route home.
Anyway, the script is there if you want it. There is a small issue with the Turret Missile Defence script, but only with NPC ships (they wont attack you with this script running on there turrets). That shoulds be fixed sooner or later. These havent been tested with 1.2 yet, as I am playing RT3
.
I also havent had any feedback at all, so I dont know if people like this script or hate it.
Oh, the commands have all the right long and short descriptions etc in the menus.
Thought this might help with those patrolling OOS combats. All ships running the script will attack in the hierachy quickly listed above. So when the cluster seperates, the Khaak M3 will be the first to cop it! Hehe, I hate them Khaak!
Addendum:
Only attackts ships within the hierachy. They wont attack M6 and above! Done for safety reasons. Be aware that a single M3 (in 1.1) could attack the second largest cluster and survive. However, the script doesnt distinguish between a small cluster and a large cluster.

Going by the reports I've had this script might soon go gold

Is it multiple or single sector??

Hi there...
Well Patrol Pack now has a new addition that I have been meaning to do for a while (said this when I first posted the pack!).
The patrol Here to There script.
Allows you to choose two sectors to patrol between up to 5 sectors apart (although no real limit).
The script is still in testing at the moment. It uses Patrol Packs search, prioritisation and attack routines.
At the moment the ship assigned the script, if fitted with a jump drive, and has enough ecells will jump to the start sector, then move out on patrol. Pretty neat. Patrols three sectors pretty fast (depends on ship speed of course).
I will get this one finished then move on to the patrol individual sectors via jump drive. IE Argon Prime to Red Light to etc etc. This will be a little more complex tho.
Oh well off to work I go.

ETA for the patrol script - cannot give, needs further testing (working fine so far but I thought the Trade Extension was working fine too when I released it a week ago...)
Capabilities:
Define Start and End Sector, define up to 3 (optinal) sectors as waypoints.
Chose whether the script should go from Start to end using the waypoints and back the same way or fly in circles going from the end secor directly back to the start sector.
(this way you can make a ship patrol the borders of the core argon sectors)

I've not had a single issue with this script and it's been running for a month.
And if burnit takes my advice he'll put it onsale for over a million credits
I have just bought my 4th dragon, each ship patrols around 8 sectors and apart from khaak instantly spawning on top of one of my 1mw ships it keeps the peace impressively
