An oddity

firstly....I will admit to saying that im not sure where in this forum this topic belongs......

...and on to business......

I have a Soyary located in Preist Rings. It is set so that no other races can trade with it (I have double checked this - as ALL my stations are set to this).

...so...

Question the first...

There is a Boron Dolphin (not mine) in the system which is being attacked by a Paranid Pegasus (it is only this system it happens in - and its always the same Pegasus). Why could this be??

Question the second..... The Boron Dolphin's shields after being attacked by the Pegasus drop from 7500 to around 6000 - at which point the Dolphin docks with my Soyary station and waits. Why is this - and why is it able to dock?

I will say that i dont mind the Dolphin docking at my station as - firstly - it stays alive, and secondly - it doesnt take any Soja Husk that the station produces. I am however curious as to why this is happening as (as has already been stated) my station is set to 'Trade with other Races - No'.



On a second note...If I look at a map of Argon Prime (with the Show As Enemy set to Yes), everything present is my friend (awwww!) except for one lone Argon Nova. It is only this Argon Nova which shows up as red. If i fly near it - within 2km - it simply ignores me - so why is it red?

Each ship has its own list of races that it hates. What makes that Pegasus hate Borons is a mystery.

Similarly, the Nova might consider you as enemy, but if it is busy doing something else, it simply has not executed the "lets kill my enemies" procedure at your presence.

"Does trade" and "Allows docking" are almost, but not quite, the same. The Dolphin has no intention to trade with you, only to find shelter. Try setting the station to hate everybody.
