I've created my model, converted it to a .bob file, and replaced the entry for the Xenon H in tsships.pck
1) I remember there being an operand that forces X2 to load uncompressed files as a preference, so I need to know what that is.
2) How would I go about spawning my new ship ingame?
3) I know there must be a way to add new ships without replacing old ones, but I don't know how I would do that. So that's the last thing I need to know.
Add a new ship ingame

1) You mean the 'raw mode', I guess. I never used this. But afaik, you need to append '-raw' to the X2.exe shortcut.
But afaik, the cat- and dat-files need to be deleted from the X2-directory.
2) You need a script. I'm sure there's one in the cheat pack.
3) There are many unused slots in the TShips.pck. You can use one of them.
To add new ships without using the available slots, you need a small program named 'patch14'. There was a link here, but it seems it doesn't work anymore. Does anybody can provide an alternate link (I haven't searched the forums, maybe there is already a new link somewhere here).
