A Miner's Tale

Post by Momaw »

My first shot at X fiction. There's a tale for the traders and the pirates, why not the miners. Hosted at

...because I'm too lazy to try and copy over the formatting. Lemme know what you think.

Very good Momaw, your writing style is good... you could expand on that quite well , I'd love to see more of it.

Thanks !

Great story,

Your story is a good example of why X2 is such a great game. It will set your imagination to working overtime.

You did a great job of projecting the image of the life and times of miners in X2. :)

And why not miners indeed :) very nicely written and easy to follow story.

I have to admit to having really enjoying mining in X2, collecting rocks while the factories I have collect credits is a nice way to spend some easy time in X2. Well at least untill the urge to go shoot something comes back

Nice start, it will be interesting to see where you can take this.

Yes - that's a promising debut indeed and an interesting perspective to take. :)

Check out the creative writing pages on my site, http://www.spaceritual.com for stuff you might find useful if you're serious about writing. Keep it up.

Great story mate!

I've never tried mining myself. I'm more the "shoot-all-in-sight" type of gamer.

But having read this masterpiece, you made me want to experience the world of mining once by myself.

Keep up the good work.
