Hey guys,

Would it be possible to take ship models from mods, and swap them out with some of the default vanilla models?

There are a couple ships in-game which just really bother me visually, if I could put something more pleasing in their place without changing their stats, that'd be nice.


Turret placement can change if necessary.

Yes, it can be done. It's quite easy btw.

In that case, how would I go about taking a ship model from say, Top Gun 2.5, and replacing the default Paranid Odi model?

Do an extra search on these forums for all posts by DeadlyDA and you will find some interesting modding info, also I'm sure I've blabbed my fair share of info around here lol.
