Wanting to introduce myself

Hey all, I am kind of a returning/newbie player. I had bought the game at one time and started a small campaign. Shortly after I had to quit, and my computer went on the frits. Since then I have gotten the computer back up and upgraded over the year. I went to try and find my disc and have had no luck.

Just purchased the game from Direct to Drive, so I have 4 hours until I can play. Pretty excited about it, and looking forward to talking to people in the community. I am new to the X3 universe having only played my original version for about an day.

Guess I am going to be watching Babylon 5 until I get the download completed. Until then I shall be reading the forums and learning some about the game.

From what I have read so far, it does seem that the community for this game is pretty much still alive, that is great.

Well, if you like Babylon 5 [great series by the way] then you'll LOVE some of the mods and new ships, including most of the primary ships from B5....

Two guys [so far that I've come across] have greated everything from minbari warships to Vorlong battlecruisers and they work just lovely.

Here's a link to get you started, this page is magrathean monkey's Star tre, star wars and a few other ships but, do a search for 'Kris' and you'l see his around. They're awesome.

Thanks for the replies so far. Sorry I posted this in the wrong area, looks like the devs have fixed that little problem already, so I will know for the future.

Welcome to the bit of the website where you'd just as likely see a reference to the khaak as a live brontosaurus.

I still play but the folk here are way more interesting than any game.

It looks like even the mods can't decide where this goes: XU, OT, back to XU. Help, let me off, I feel sick!

I think there was a mention of some mods as well, so can we go to S&M next?
