Hello all, I was looking through the X3 scripting forum and I saw this link:
http://forum.egosoft.com/viewtopic.php? ... c&start=0, and I thought that it would be very helpful if it was a script for X2, as I am currently working on custom map and it would take me forever to make a good, asteroid-filled Ore Belt, but if there was a script like this for X2 (or if a really good scripter could make it), I could have it done in a flash.
So, is there anyone out there who could make this script (if you do, please make a zip file, not a rar file).

I'm working on a script (in fact two) to do something similar: to place a random number of asteroids in a sector. According to the purpose of this script the asteroids tend to form asteroid fields. And I need to script to make dense asteroid fields. They will get part of a mod, that's why things get done this way.
If this is of any use for you, I can send you a (zipped) version. Right now there's a little problem: the distance between the asteroids are sometimes too small, but that may be a problem with the custom asteroids that come with the mod. They won't be thoroughly tested....
