how do I put the moded ships from CJ's site into x-tension?.

how do I put the mods for the ships(e.g. xenon m2 or m1) into the folder for x-tension so they can be used? anyone ever done it before? I got the off of http://the-commander.com/

if it is an exe, put it in the xtensions folder and run it, it's a mod version of the game running icon. hope that fixes it. but a word of caution. i got the earth command ship and the super x-perimental. if you use the normanl exe the game will not contain you vessel. make a shortcut on your desktop.. the super earth command ship is fast and cool but S.E.T.A dose not work, you don't need it any way it gets super fast after engine tunning upgrades.

you have downl.oaded some modified exe's from cj's site?

find your XT game folder....drop the exe's into it

left click and hold and drag each one to the desktop, then play.

you can use them in a current game (your savegame) but
anything new will not commence until. you start them - errrmmm
i think that is the way it goes

ok I did that however...the game is messing up again...argh.....

you put the d/loaded file into your x folder. You name it something other than "X-BTF.exe or X-Tension.exe" cos otherwise it'll copy over the origonal. Then you play it like you would the origonal. Simple.

You can put start menu things in, or desktop shortcuts if ya want. it doesn't make a difference.

uh...don't worry...got it working...again...this time changed the monitor's resolution....BUT I LOST MY SAVED GAME FILES .....
