Using the CLS program (X2)

Post by uv903 »

Hi guys
My TS pilots are gaining ranks due to the usage of the commodity program. Alas, I don't understand how to make them understand that I want to assign them with 2 different supplyers (their homebase and another one of my factories, each delivers different wares). The Readme file explains that the pilot will determine on his own if the assigned factories are supplyers or consumers and behave accordingly, but in the game, the TS pilot sends me a message that "this station doe'snt supply my commodites, nor does it have any use of it:"..
What am I doing wrong???

Why, I see the same question, written in other words!?!?!
And still the answer is a riddle to me.
Does the ability to use multy supplyers in the CLS program mean they have to supply the same product?? I fail to understand, sorry for being stupid..

Yep. CLS pilots only transport one type of product. You'll need to assign multiple pilots for factories with more than one resource. It's a bitch getting it all set up, but once established, CLS pilots are by far the most efficient way of keeping an empire running. I have 118 CLS pilots reliably servicing 320 stations. It's a delicate system, but i shudder to think of the alternative...
