Hex Help

I followed the "Unlimited Credits" post here: http://www.neoseeker.com/Games/cheats/PC/x2_threat.html , but I can't get it to work.

The save is in slot 2, I have 72040 credits, and I'm using the hex editor XVI32 v.2.31.

Why use a hex editor at all? Just go to the scripting forum and grab a cheat-script.

Is there one already made for infinite credits? If so, please link me.

There's one to add as many credits as you want, and you can run it whenever you want. Go have a look in the scripting forum - the cheat sticky may be a good start

a script to add money to player's acount looks something like this:

add money to player: 1000000

there are plenty of tutorials and faqs about how to activate the script editor and writing your first script. If you can hex you can script.
