In the 'read me' file for the above the figures are stated as :-
• M1 - Twenty (as "support" crew) plus five crew members per turret
• M2 - thirty (as "support crew") plus ten crew members per turret.
Then further down:-
The minimum number of crew to run one turret on an M1 is 25, (that calculates) on an M2 is 65 (one turret's crew plus the support crew). (That doesn't)
Which is correct?
Also:-
'You will be able to start using Gunnery Crew to operate your turrets as soon as you obtain the necesary minimum crew'
How do you allocate crew to turrets or do they choose, if considerably less than the full compliment are present.

The first number is right for an M2, 30 support crew and 10 crew per turret. As least that’s what I've always gone by, and I've never had a problem. I don't know what the second number is about but I always just assumed it was an error, or maybe left in from a previous version where an M2 might have needed different numbers for the crew. As for assigning the crew to a turret, I would have to guess that if you only have enough crew to operate one turret, you could activate the gunnery crews on only one turret. They are activated the same way the default AI turret commands are, so you just pick the turret you want them using when you activate them.
I'm not disappointed in you; I'm disappointed in myself, for believing in you.
