New game: teh first things to do?
what are the first things to do when starting a new game to earn big bucks fast..?

The only way to big bucks fast is to capture Pirate Orinocos. This is easier said than done. (Unless you are experienced at capturing.)
I would suggest that you sell your buster, Buy and equip a Argon Discoverer( max speed and GIRE), a Satellite and an Argon Litfer. Go to the Wall, drop your satellite there and remote command your Lifter to trade in energy cells. You can then go off and look for adventure. (Call in at the Goner Temple in Cloud Base South West and pick up Salvage insurance- this will allow you to save at any time.) Try to pick a lone orinoco and try to capture it by lowering it shields as quick as you can, after some practice it becomes easier. They sell for about 500k cr. A couple of these and you can buy a better ship say a Boron Piranha with better weapons (gets those shields down quicker).
