Raising Rank?

Does anyone know how to make a script that will raise ur combat rank or trading rank?

I know there's a race noteriety script to boost your rep with which-ever race you pick. I'm unsure if you are able to boost combat rep as if so then players wouldn't need to spend time wiping out Xenon sectors or jumping into Khaak ones to get larger gains. Why do you need combat and trade rank boosting anyway?

Checked with Cycrow and he says the Combat and Trade ranks are fixed, though you could edit a save game or use a trainer?

Some missions take rank and i need trading rank cause i have 6 stations running and rank takes forever to go up

When i want rank ill leave the computer on all nite with SETA on but when i wake up all my ships have been destroyed by unknown enemy.

If you leave the computer on SETA then you lose combat rank fast, its down to inputs being registered by the comp, either mouse, keyboard or joystick. If it doesn't get any input it starts dropping your rank and by using SETA it happens faster. Trade rank goes up faster if you make big deals, so if you buy a full TS of Majaglit at 11 and sell it at 61 to a Sat factory then your rank with the Paranids goes up because you bought a big load off them and also with the Argons or who-ever you sold it to, but just as with combat rank you sometimes notice the race rank raises rather than the combat or trade.
