ok, i always thought that updating egosofts games was a a bit confusing thing...

please, all i need is a link to a patch that will update a completly new installation of x-tension to the latest version.. thank you!

Hi, I don't have a direct link I'm afraid but you need the 1.4-2.1 patch. If you've just bought a new copy of X-Gold, it should be on the CD, if not try CJ's site www.the-commander.com .

yes yes, i know where to search for updates, it's just that i dont even know what to search for..

i have this old x-tension cd.. not gold..

Hi,

The version number you have appears on the load screen (the window that pops up when you start XT). Check what version you have and then go and get the relevant patch from the download section.
