Can you please confine your posts to X2-The Threat topics? You can either PM or email the relevant people if you want but cheats do not very well fit into this forum here.

But to answer your questions, have you ever tried Google?

is a cheat program?
i thought it might be a program in the game,just like navigation system within the game. XD

Artmoney is an basic memory editor that lets you edit memory of games.. allowing you to edit numbers like your current credit count.

imo this what's spoiler and what's not is just plain stupid.. who ever heard of sector names being spoilers... anyway..

i have used artmoney with a great deal of sucsess.

with out going into to detail on how to use it, here is a quick guide:
Spoiler
Show
load up artmoney
load up X2
write down how much cash you have (or remember it)
alt+tab out and open artmoney
select X2 as the program
click search
enter the amount of cash you have as the value
make sure your looking for an interger
click ok and wait, it will find loads of values.
now go back to X2 and spend some cash or make some cash.
alt+tab out to artmoney and sieve for the new cash value
this should limit the keys down to atleast 2 or even 1, at which point
you can now safely edit those values

don't go overboard with cash as it does spoil the game, i myself only bought an argon mammoth and 2 SPP's and a Crystal fab and a silicon mine, with a few mecurys, this is just to start an empire of which i plan to make money from to fund me the rest of the game.

Looks to me like when you use ArtMoney it causes most of the equipment (Weapons, missiles, exc) to drop to 0 stock for all stations and not replenish....

Wasn't there a similar anti-cheat system implemented in X-BTF?
Something about your cargo space getting limited or whatnot when you cheat?

If you really want to cheat just fire up a hex editor and search for the appropriate number. Hint: your money in X2 is an unsigned long int, if you know what I mean.

I'm assuming that it's possible to increase your cargo hold size beyond the maximum, right? I do know that you can change your missiles to whatever and it will not count towards cargo space.

For example, you start with 5 wasp missiles, you artmoney them to 100,000 wasp missiles, and it still only counts as 5 hold points.

If you bump the current hold size to something like 10000, will it reset when you load? I don't have my game with me right now, but I was just curious.
