Fixin up an old classic, AP GUNNER restoration
I decided to take the ol AP GUNNER mesh to the local body shop and fix her up and dump her in game in the next version of my mod:-) So far the work is progressing well but I'm having a bit of trouble around the external cockpit part it's more seriously banged up that the rest of the ship was. I will hopefully have her finished soon and post some pics here. I don't wanna change the texturing much so it will be more to the original but of course take out all the rust and set two guns up front instead of just one.
I think I will call it the "argon sonra" since the name "argon gunner" sounds too hillbilly lol. Try saying it three times fast and you don't wanna say it anymore hehe. Yeah sonra it is unless someone has a better name that more closely matches the storyline of the game?

Well the paint is still dryin but these pics came out well. Keep in mind that these screens were shot in argon prime so everything has a blue tinge to it there. The parts are actually the AP GUNNER parts but I restored them so all visual hull damage was deleted and replaced. There are no wasted polys on this model anywhere.

Well uh... release date will be soon hehe:-) More like a few weeks since I've found some interesting results when changing the body number for the control jets. I wanna use control jets on all 63 ships in me mod lol and I'm still not done upgrading all ships visually so it will be a while. That is a beam weapon it's part of my mod not something default.

in the list
I can't remember atm but if you have X2 and can see the tships file in x2editor you will see the listing APGUNNER and it's the scene number from there that will list the default parts.
