What are Max Jumps????????????

when inside a power station is asks the amount of max jumps. what is this option. should i put it up or down?? default is set at 9

If you set it to 1, ships using the trade software will only trade in sectors one gate away, ie N,S,E,W.

If you set it to 2, they'll cover a diamond shape, (ie travel any of N, N+N, N+W, N+E, W, W+W, E, E+E, S+W, S+E, S+S, S)
