Factory Icons

I know where the texture file the graphics for factory icons are stored, but it seems the icons for factories are set according to their number in TFactories.

Custom factories after the default set show a generic icon with 4 dots on them. Is this OBJ locked, or is there a way to assign an icon to a factory?
