Pirate Bases?

I can't seem to see any of the pirate bases anywhere, I'm looking for one in Company Pride. Does anyone know where it might be? They have me on a timed mission but I've spent over 30 min looking and now I'm getting uninterested. Thanks for any help

quickest way i know is to drop a satellite in the system....this identifies everything in the system......its that long since i played forgot where they all are

try to ignor the annoying music ( ) and go to the X-T bit and go to Maps. Then choose english maps, or german maps if you're so inclined.


They have a whole bunch of symbols for trading stations, shipyards, equipment docks and, of course, pirate stations!

Cool, I know I'm in the right sector now, but i still can't find the actual base. my navsat is giving me no return on it, but I know that it's here somewhere, ??????

Maybe it's been destroyed?

Um, go into the advanced options ([shift]+[o] - I think) and select "respawn pirate bases" and go to a different sector for a while and come back. I think they respawn in the same sector. Can't remember! haha

oops!!! forgot about that it had a habit of being attacked by the teladi M1(or was it the M2)

lol yeah! I was on a mission to deliver a package to that pirate base and just as I left the gate I turned to see the teladi phonex destroy the station!


hahaha kinda pissed me off after a long journey! lol

In my many passes thru the game, I try to avoid Company Pride. The reason is because I soon as I get in that sector, either the Teladi Destroyer blows itself up trying to ram the pirate base, or that the destroyer has destroyed the base.
I would like to save that base as it is the constant source of pirates for me to capture in Thuruks Beard.

You must be running an old version--in 2.0 and later the destroyer goes after the base regardless of whether you're in-sector or not. I know, because I always used to start my games by getting a fast ship, making the journey to Company Pride, and scooping up all the missiles dropped by the pirate ships the destroyer took out as it started attacking the base; in 2.0 I got there to find the destroyer already gone.
