Well I'm not going to spoil it for you but it is possible to get the Xperimental back in Xt. However it takes a long time and you'd better get used to the alternatives until such time.

Ps Its not quite the same ship as it was before - you are no longer indestructible :P

You need to have 100 hours of gameplay, commander ranking, friend of priest duke with paranids, and accepted friend (not sure about htis one), with argon. then you get a mission offered in paranid space, who tell you to go to argon prime. you get it there. afraid it only has beta hepts, though

But you can't fit it with Gamma HEPTs in XT. Unless you use Stone-D's patch of course. Get it from CJ's site, you won't regret it.

Why not try the challenge of Xt as it is rather than hack it to bits without trying it. You never know, you might like being mortal :p

yeah, I agree. its much more rewarding when you get where you want to be without cheating. such as getting a mammoth (that was a sweet moment).

Hi. I have to agree with the above. There is no fun in cheeting.

This sounds harsh, but if you are going to cheet, then you may as well shut the game down, because what's the point of playing if you are not going to do it in the way it should be done?

In some respects, I would even go as far to say that capturing ships is cheeting. Because then you can build a 5 minute empire with little effort once technique is perfected. Mostly, this is because of the rediculase prices you can sell captred ships for.

I dunno. it would've taken me years if it wasn't for captured orinoccos. besides, whenever i leave the computer on for factories to make money, the number of ships in the game gets bigger and bigger until it just runs too slowly.

Couldnt agree more.

If you pile all your early earnings into ship upgrades and weapons enough to stand a chance against more than 1 pirate at a time then its an endless supply of credits and you wouldnt even have to trade to make money.

Ever tried leaving it on SETA for over night? Boy that is profitable. Very profitable indeed.

In my current game, about 20. But in my previous one, over 100.

Yes, it can certainly get that way. But then again, I don't capture any of my ships/fighters, all are bought.

But, I do buy a lot of factories, and fighters for my current TL. But, am thinking of getting a Mamouth and having it as a storage base for missiles/shields/lasers.

I think you need to capture a fleet of xenons. the 'M's are actually quite good.
