X2 Multiplayer

...it's not like it would be hard to set up a multiplayer patch...
If it was that easy someone would have done it by now.

It is not a trivial matter, unlike other single player games that have been modded into multyplayer, of activating dormant networking code. X2 was never designed like that so unfortunately there's very little chance of there ever being a multiplayer mod.

Yes that would be nice but how would you manage station positions and ship positions and the save system..... and that's just the iceing....
