Mobile Mining difficulties
Hello again.
I am not able to mobile mine in Litcube.
I read all there is in the Litcube Wiki, sounds straight forward.
Did buy a Pike Miner with ore collector, 1x MDS, Mineral Scanner and the usual software you get in Ocean Of Fantasy Equipment Dock.
In the sector of question I did try to mine but I can't break the Asteroids or the Debris with the MDS. I did also try various rockets to break the asteroids but most only lock on to hostile targets and the dumbfire are not breaking them.
I did lots of mobile mining in Albion prelude and it worked fine, so I don't know what I am doing wrong anymore. Do I need 6x MDS for the pike?
Why is the pike a miner? It has no cargo space?

It also lets the carrier rapidly launch its fighters. I didn't know that at first, so the first time I used my Shark, it didn't have CCS on it. I called in my Emeus and Shark, and by the time the Shark had managed to launch all its fighters two at a time, the Emeus, with CCS installed, had cleared the entire sector.
Mahadev- Are you trying to personally mine in your Pike? I'm not sure if that works. I'd guess there are other ways of setting it up, but my mobile miner fleet consists of like 36 Chimeras all home-based to an Elephant. I gave all the Chimera's the Mine in Sector command, and occasionally I'll move the Elephant over to where they're currently operating. The Chimeras will automatically return home and drop off their goods when they're full, then go back to mining.

You can get both M3 miners and TS miners, both of which have way more cargo space than a Pike. As an example I use Kea Miners, which can be bought in Ministry of Finance, and I have also used Mercury Miners, which can be bought in Light of Heart.Mahadev wrote:Hello again.

As for the mining itself, the ship needs as many Mobile Drilling Systems as you can fit on it, as one MDS will be slow as f#§k. The ship also need an ore collector and special command software, and since it's designed to be an automated process being on the ship is probably a bad idea. To make things easier I tend to buy a TL, homebase my miners to it, park the TL near a debris field (small "clouds" on the map) and turn my miners loose on the debris. The miners will then plow through the debris field, dump their load at the TL when they have filled their cargo hold, and return to work. I then tend to have a TS pick up the cheap stuff, like ore and silicon, and ship it either to my HQ or an equipment dock and have my dock agents move it, while I send in something like a Drake with a transporter to pick up the valuable stuff.
Also, a protip if you get stuck is to check the command in question in the ingame encyclopedia. There is a new tab that says something like "software commands" or something (can't check since my gaming rig is some 700 miles away), and if you choose "object commands" you get a list of all commands available in the game, plus the requirements needed to use them.

Im only a few hours into LU and cant test it myself: does the fast-dock/start feature for fighters on carriers with the carrier command software always work or only work with transporter device installed?
I really dislike this feature and would like to play without it.

Liitle bug
Hello litcube.I think i have a little issue.I find an abbandoned Acinonyx who has COMBAT COMMAND SOFTWARE MK1 and MK2 build in it, i put 9 units of marines in it but i dont have the option lo LAUNCH ALL MARINES and PIRACY neither.
Before that i use a MORRIGU and i have those options.It is a bug or i am wrong with something?

TLDR; Yes, noticed that myself recently. Technically should be easy to fix, unless I run into some issue I did before.
Long version:
Litcube added a few new MSCI commands for computations with larger numerical values, including a multiplication operation between a bigint (that can represent larger numbers) and a normal integer, but that thing is very slow (like multiple seconds slow in which time nothing else happens, your game is hanging) when it's multiplying with a relatively higher value in the "normal integer" operand. I will attempt to fix it, see how much of an actual performance cost it has, might not be an issue with the actual Market Capacity window, I ran into this when I wrote the Total Asset Report feature.

SCH problem
Hi i have mods mk3 reloaded,small improvements and fixes and satelite monitoring, once i have built a 011 sch and it worked and now when i click settings and choose factory and install it goes with menu containing just those basic options and factory name, it is not calculating what factories i need and cash needed, in my TL I cannot use SCH shop because it is not setted in configuration on SCH station, please help me.

Have you tried going back into the Saturn Complex Hub Console of your new SCH? There are different menus you are talking about, the "basic" menu with factory name and basic options is the "d" menu (accessed by pressing the "d" key), you want to go to the Saturn Complex Hub Console menu.
