Sooooooo, been playing this mod for a while im really impressed, the only thing that needs sorting out are making betty pronounce the name and descriptions other than that its ace :D

get us a voice actress that revoices everything betty says and you might get that...

Yeah not to mention doing all the time stamps for the voice file would be worse I would think.... Just turn off verbose computer.

Well I think it's going to get a bit off topic now, but XTC managed to get at least spoken sector names. And maybe felxible Betty could be reworked to get everything spoken. It uses Windows' Text-to-Speech function.

I seem to be having trouble with getting anything from this Mod to show up.
I love the images and the concept behind it but I can't get it working. Sad truth is I follow the instructions and all I end up seeing is random Titans or Colossus ships flying around with names like ATF ATF Military (I've also downloaded the Jobs addon for this too).
I made sure to grab the Albion Prelude versions of both mods, and installed them. I do use the XPM to load my game however, so perhaps that has something to do with it?
Any little tips would be awesome because this addon package has all kinds of cool all over it.

That sounds a bit like TShips- or Jobs-trouble. You might remove the Jobs file. Which one do you use? the one from vkerinav (old one) or from NighTragE (up-to-date but still beta(?)?
Then start a new game and see if that's still the same.

What do you mean with
AP versions of both mods
? Do you have another ship mod installed? When replacing a TShips with another one then ships that cannot be found anymore often get the Colossus (Mammoth?) model. That happens mostly to spaceflies and Kha'ak clusters, never realized something like that to ATF ships though.

I stripped my X3:TC and AP installs clean of any mods before I installed this one. It's probably the Jobs file, but its still frusterating as heck. The Shipyards at the Moon in Terran Space also don't sell any of the new ships though I can buy the Valhalla :3
I think its time to start from scratch again. I figured I'd also give XRM a go, but there's a lot of things changed in that mod I don't like. Personal taste I'm sure, but eh.
Anyways, back on topic here.
I tried the X3:TC version of the XTRA ship pack as well but the file was corrupt, as per rar and 7zip when trying to unpack it. If you know of another location I may find that in I would be happier than a clam.
I'll let you know how a completely fresh install of only this mod goes as well. I haven't installed it as a Fake Patch either, just as a heads up.

Oh, and the Jobs file I used is the newer one thats still in beta.

EDIT 01-13-13: Well, for some reason it worked this time. I installed the XTRA ship pack differently by installing only it first, loading the game using the actual game mod loader not XPM. Started a game to let everything load, checked wares in the shipyards to confirm this, then exited the game. Loaded up XPM and installed my scripts for NPC Bailing and Salvage and loaded the game back up and viola. It worked. :)

Hi guys

Dont know if someone asked it in here already but i dont have a clue what to do.
I would like to play X3TC with this nice Mod but iam not able to play it because if i run this Mod iam not able to build my station complexes.
Iam able to build my stations with my Mammut but if i try to connect them with a complex kit iam not able to select the stations. They arnt in the list. I reinstalled my X3TC and cutted all Mod´s and scripts off already and tryed it on a fresh installation. Also i tryed it out with TC 3.0 and 3.2. No chance. Still not able to select the stations with the complex kit.

That's already been reported. And I think someone posted how to solve that problem. You might have a look at the posts from beginning of October last year (Cadius' last post) and earlier. The post I think of should be around that time.

Seems it was a error in the Dummies file
the SDTYPE_GUN;43; should be changed to SDTYPE_GUN;44;

I changed this and my complexes all work fine and connect up so far.
Hmmmmm.... Its confusing for me. What i have to do?

Use this Dummies.txt. Place it into your types folder (you might need to create it in you TC main directory). Then test it. It should work now.

Sorry. No freaking clue about this. Tryed to download and use the X3MM and X3Editor 2. Found the Dummies.txt but it isnt working. Also i tryed your way to copy that into a .txt into the folder. also not working.

At the end this "small" problem is known since...oct last year and no hotfix for that? users like me arnt profis to do that in a few minutes. iam sitting since over 4 hours on my pc to fix that problem. looks like iam not able to play that mod.

Fixed version of 2.01
The bug with not being able to link stations to complexes has been fixed.
I hope Cadius doesn't mind, I didn't ask him.
I only changed the SDTYPE_GUN count from 43 to 44.

Well I think I have found a new way to break this mod, but I also figured out how to kind of unbreak it at the same time. I like the MARS mod, but it seems to remove any ship that exists in this ship pack. Really not what I was hoping to achieve to be honest. What I want to see and do is just get MARS working with XTRA. I KNOW it has to do with the Tships file that MARS has, I just haven't figured out how to get the two to play nicely.
On a side note, the XRM setup works fine with MARS, but I'm still on the fence about XRM (too much futzing around with laser stats).

Don't install the repair drones from mars, thats the bit that overwrites the Tship files from this mod. I believe that this mod already includes that anyway.
