This better not be like some TV shows that have a cliff hanger for a last episode of the season and then make you wait until next summer for the conclusion! I think I should possibly go crazy waiting for the next thrilling adventure of Squiddy!
(P.s. I'll also be disappointed if this is like some second rate shows that replaces the lead actor between seasons and hopes no-one notices...I think we'd all notice if season 2 the star was Squiddy McThreeEyes
)

People like a good storyRJV wrote:Best part of all this is the flood of reactions to something happening to someone else playing a computer game...
Cracking cliffhanger though![]()
(and I think this situation would definitely allow hitting Pause and considering options for a while)

Its also interesting and inspiring which makes you want to play the game some more.
But it certainly has grown quite a fan base thats for sure
Patiently awaiting the next installment

My gut feeling is that The Squidster will survive yet again. Partially battered perhaps, but alive.

I regret the offense my comment caused, it was not intended to be serious, and was based completely on the fact your avatar is VERY fair-haired, my likely faulty understanding of the unfocused JD was that it was a modification to the existing JD to allow an untargeted jump procedure. Anyone else want to weigh in on that? I ain't got TC to check.jordan kirwan wrote:i always thought the regular JD and the UJD where two seperate versions of the JDBlown wrote:Blondes...jordan kirwan wrote:use the UNFOCUSED JD and hope you land somewhere quite to recharge shields and call in anothership to where you where to pick you up
His jumpdrive fried as he was trying to RSLG-JD!
kinda hard to unfocus the jumpdrive if it ain't there.
as in the UJD doesnt require the regular JD to operate
p.s im not a blode and not stupid
Targeting and shooting Reds at every opportunity, and the occasional blue...

Hmmmmmm now that would be interesting. Can you do an unfocused jump in your spacesuit? What do you do if you end up in the middle of Khaak paradise .. I hope the spacesuit has been upgraded to max speed and has 1GJ shieldsjordan kirwan wrote: i always thought the regular JD and the UJD where two seperate versions of the JD

It still needs E-Cells though doesn't it? I would not want to think where you would keep those in your space suitkreep69 wrote:Hmmmmmm now that would be interesting. Dude, what are you talking about .. I always keep a few ECells stashed on my person (don't ask where) to power my MP3 player and in case of minor emergencies, doesn't everyone? Also the space suit needs power now doesn't it ... ;PTeebor wrote:It still needs E-Cells though doesn't it? Cmon a space suit unfocused jump couldn't possibly need more than 5 ecells hehehe.

the space suit has a cargo space of 1[which is permanently filled with the repair laser] and carry only - (tiny i think) size wares
while e-cells need S class cargo
also how would you get get the e-cells into it

Epilogue:
Split after-action military reports state the pirate vessel M7 - 'Maggot' registered to one Squiddy McSquid, wanted in connection with the disappearance of the Raptor assigned to Family Pride Home-fleet as well as numerous other piracy related crimes across the galaxy was contacted today in Tharkas Sun attempting to commit acts of piracy on a TM class vessel and may have been aiding raiders on the local XL-SPP.
Sources further indicate the pirate vessel was intercepted by a Split military patrol from Family Rhonkar who, in coordination with local police defence forces, engaged the rogue vessel.
Despite the enemy vessel putting up a spirited defence superior Split firepower won the day and the enemy ship was destroyed with all hands.
Glory to Rhonkar!
