Hi
Thanks for the great mod, gives me a whole lot of new things to do as i slowly grow my empire. I do have a question tho but not sure if its part of this mod.
I am using it with LU and just wondered if there is a way to change the default loadout of the pirate ships that spawn in missions like "Wanted", to not include fighter drones.
The reason being is I play X3 kinda weird, i use mouse and keyboard and when i see some combat coming up i pick up and use my Controller. It just gets a bit annoying when cylcing through targets(which i use the d-pad for) and all i get is fighter drones. I dont want to have to try and search for that one last ship hidden among 20+ drones.

Been very impressed with this so far - complete and working mission system.
However, I started to miss the really big battles default generic station missions offer (if one has high enough ranks) so I now use both mission systems simultaneously - balance be damned!
This works quite nicely, too, without getting in each others way.

But it did work out nicely so far...
Neglecting any "balance" (read too much/less loot and stuff, I am not using the loot module anyways) issues the two systems apparently can run in parallel perfectly fine.
More is always better.
And it's big fun... well, at least until my game implodes because of it. Which may happen tomorrow - or never at all.
No worries, I will of course come here and blame you when... no... if it happens.

But until then... ty for XM-R!

Hey Joubarbe, thanks for the mod, it's really nice.
I think there's an issue with some Golden Opportunities tho: I've just docked at the station to take control of the ship (an M8), then switched to the new ship just to see how it looked like. Then I came back to my original ship and moved on. A few minutes later, I tried to save but couldn't: it appears I lost all my salvage insurances, although I'm sure I still had more than 100. And I noticed I also lost all the police licenses.
To make sure, I've reloaded a previous save a couple times and bought every Golden Opp I could find. I couldn't reproduce the bug with the few other ships I bought (a TM, and a couple M5 IIRC), but it happened the 3 times I found a Gladiator. When I get in the M8, it seems ok (licences etc). But as soon as I get back in my usual ship, no more licenses nor insurances.
I remember it happened in my previous playthrough, but I didn't know the reason. So it might be related to the class, since the M8 really isn't a common ship to fly, or even the Gladiator only.
edit: after some more testing, I can say it happens with the Viper too, so it's probably the same with any M8. The other classes I've found (TM, M5, M4 and maybe a TS) were fine, but I didn't find anything bigger (well M6 and M7). BTW, I also lose the personal inventory if I eject instead of switching back to my usual ship. And it didn't happen with the M8 I bought the normal way at a shipyard.

Yep, very strange indeed. Here's a savegame. I only use some of memeics's small improvements and fixes for LU (here), and of course LU 1.5. In the savegame, I have 2 Gladiators from Golden Oppotunity, so it's easy to test.

Yep, happen to me 1 time but i'v lost all salvage insurances + all my lisences...i have re bought all and it's don't happen anymore.
(playing with LU + XRM)

Hi,
I have a little problem with Yaki Rebirth plot. In first mission I must build 2 stations in Senator Badlands, but I have problem with transfer stations to sector. I bought Argon stations and hire Argon Mammoth for transfer. But if Argon Mammoth reach Yaki sectors, then Yaki military forces destroy the Mammoth and my valuable cargo too
. It's strange when they trying to be peaceful.

... ok thank you, but its strange. And for my game its too hard.
I bought new ship only from Golden oportunity missions (my rule for LU and XR-M game) and i get Starburst M3 in time when Yaks attack mammoth
..... ok i send mammoth to other random sector maybe with better result...and no Starburst for me
....Sometimes the game is so cruel to me..
I hate Yaks so much.......
